Midlands No.1 Specialist Video Production Company

iceni is once again the leading corporate communications company in the Midlands, according to a survey by top industry magazine Televisual.

The company is ranked as one of the top 5 corporate video production companies in England with its head office north of London.

The top 50 list is compiled each year; corporate video production companies in the list are awarded scores for the number of video commissions; hours of content delivered; turnover for corporate work; and reputation among their peers.

Thanks to another exciting year filming in Brazil, Mauritius, Thailand, Hungary, Germany and across the UK, and receiving a clutch of industry awards from New York, Hollywood, Birmingham and Manchester, iceni has climbed the top 50 list to number 32.

Cathy Bentley, Director of iceni said, ‘through 2006, we’ve added some great new talent to the team with a variety of broadcast experience, and that means exciting new ways to make an impact on our clients’ staff and customers.

‘We brought online a sister company 123iceni delivering high quality DVD and CD print, packaging, duplication and replication, and introduced a dedicated Educational media team, working with Creative Partnerships to deliver high quality film and video projects for schools and colleges.’

We’re very proud to be the number one corporate video production company in the Midlands.’

iceni has begun 2007 with a move towards climate neutral production services that has sparked interest throughout the industry.100% of the electricity supply to the company’s Midlands studio comes from renewable energy sources, and every mile of essential road rail and air travel, by all production crew is now offset through an approved carbon offsetting scheme. This is offered at absolutely no extra cost to our clients.

iceni is currently working on screen advertising, video, interactive DVD and web based projects for Everest, Birmingham City Council, First Group, Siemens, HSBC (UK) Rail Ltd, Creative Partnerships, Kleeneze and Findel.

BROADCAST VIDEO AND CORPORATE FILM PRODUCTION GOES CLIMATE NEUTRAL

iceni®, a Midlands business video production and digital design agency, is offsetting greenhouse gas emissions from every mile of road, rail and air travel, on every project in 2007. This offsetting is offered at absolutely no extra cost to clients.

Through an approved offsetting scheme, carbon emissions from essential travel are ‘balanced’ by payments to companies dedicated to reducing global warming. As well as cutting greenhouse gases, the projects help to improve people’s standards of living and protect wildlife habitats.

iceni’s 2006 offsetting contributions have gone towards projects in India and Uganda that promote renewable energy, energy efficiency and rainforest restoration.
Andi Jepson, Director of iceni® said, ‘It’s not always practical to transport production crew and kit to locations using public transport, and during the course of a year we have to fly a lot of miles to produce and film programmes, conferences and events.

In addition to offsetting, we continue to look for ways to minimise energy consumption and our impact on the environment. 100% of the electricity supply to our studio is generated from wind, wave, small scale hydro and solar power, creating zero grams of CO2.

Our travel and our energy consumption are the largest part of a business video or corporate DVD production’s carbon footprint. Now we can say that our clients’ communications projects will have a positive effect on the audience with minimal effects on the environment.’

Here are some other simple things that iceni® has done to reduce impact on the environment –

The company’s stationery is printed on recycled paper and all of the copier paper is recycled stock. Around the studio there are scrap paper boxes, and staff are encouraged to reuse paper whenever possible. All used paper is shredded and sent to a recycling facility.

In the office, iceni® use solid ink printers producing 90% less waste than an average laser printer.

Bottles and cans are recycled and any food waste is put into a wormery, where hungry tiger worms turn it into compost. Cosmic!

And there are happy hippos in the toilet cisterns, reducing the amount of water used with every flush.

Leading Network Marketing Company Looks East for Sales Travel Incentive

iceni® launch the 2008 luxury conference event qualification period with Holiday TV show filmed on location in Thailand.

Midlands UK – 10th January 2007

2007 started with a bang for Europe’s leading network marketing company: Kleeneze is now part of a FTSE 250 company, and recruitment and sales look set to soar as their biggest ever travel incentive launched to an audience of 5,000 delegates at the New Year conference in Birmingham.

Management from Kleeneze and the Findel Group commissioned video production specialists iceni® to launch the incentive with a spectacular film produced on location in Thailand.

Presented by Kleeneze management and filmed over 6 days during an inspection visit to beautiful Phuket and Bangkok, the BBC Holiday-style programme introduces the amazing activities that qualifiers for this all-expenses-paid trip will experience.

Cathy Bentley, Director of iceni® said, ‘These sales travel incentives are all about motivating people and recognising their achievements; they’re a massive celebration of distributors’ success.’

‘Using a video to launch the event was especially effective; the film was the climax of a highly charged New Year conference, and there was a real air of excitement around the auditorium as the lights dimmed and the programme started. ‘

‘After the event, copies of the programme were presented to delegates to take home and watch with their teams across the UK and Republic of Ireland. The DVD will be watched almost every day throughout the 2007 qualification period for the incentive.’

The stylish film, featuring the company staff that will welcome successful distributors to Thailand in 2008, personally addressing the audience from some fabulous locations, created the sense of a truly amazing, but attainable incentive. It’s going to be a great year for networking!
